Dialectical Behavioral Therapy

Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) is a type of therapy that is provided by most of the clinicians at BrainBody Wellness. There are four major skill areas in DBT: Mindfulness, Distress Tolerance, Interpersonal Effectiveness, and Emotional Regulation. You will be provided with handouts and a diary to complete each day.


DBT has been found to be helpful with a variety of diagnoses, including depression, anxiety, personality disorders, bulimia, binge-eating, bipolar disorder, PTSD, and substance abuse.
