 Our intake encompasses not only  traditional mental health screening, but also a discussion on wellness across eight domains (including: physical health, emotional health, environment, career, financial, spirituality, relationships, social, and fun/recreation.) 


Counseling offered by BrainBody Wellness focuses on integration of brain function, body response, nutrition (within scope, referrals provided if necessary), lifestyle, and psychological factors. 

We treat individuals across the lifespan for:

- Phobias (fear of vomiting, planes, driving, etc...)

- Misophonia

- Anxiety

- Stress

- Post Traumatic Stress Disorder

- Depression

- Grief

- Feeling "stuck"

Learn to take control of your biological response to stress! Biofeedback teaches you to access and alter biological functions. It takes information from your body (bio) and reads it on a computer screen (feedback). You then learn techniques to alter or change the feedback to more healthy patterns. These techniques have been shown to be incredibly effective in learning to manage emotions and reduce symptoms of anxiety, depression, pain and insomnia. 

Types of biofeedback we offer include:

  1. Heart rate variability (HRV) 

  2. Hand Temperature

  3. Neurofeedback

  4. Galvanic Skin Response

Biofeedback teaches ways to improve the body's response to stress and has been empirically shown to help with anxiety, depression, ADHD, as well as a number of other disorders.
